Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes…..Including you.

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to host a collaborative One Day Retreat with Stephanie Johnson at Tamara Yoga Studio in Bibra Lake. We had the pleasure of guiding a beautiful group in taking time to unplug and rest, through yoga, meditation, essential oils and nourishing food. A whole day to disconnect from our busy lives and heal the body and mind.

Nestled amongst nature with the most tranquil feature window as a back drop, Steph led us through a beautiful vinyasa yoga and meditation to begin our day.

We then experienced a guided tea meditation and explored the uses of essential oils for emotional balance and how to implement small daily rituals to allow us to step away from our daily routines and allow time to relax and recharge.

Our delicious and nourishing lunch was prepared and served by Olio’s catering and allowed us time to soak up the sun and take in the fresh air.

After lunch Steph treated us to the most divine yin and restorative yoga session followed by yoga nidra to finish our day…..absolute bliss! We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated – just what we all need!

Taking time to stop, rest and restore ensures we are the best we can be. It helps build resilience and strength, and benefits our emotional and physical wellbeing.
